Alabama

The Alabama wine industry is currently experiencing a surge in interest and growth in new wineries. Alabama has five bonded wineries that vary in size and operational characteristics. The predominate grapes grown in the state include several varieties of red and bronze Muscadines, with some varieties of French hybrid grapes. There are several you-pick operations located throughout the state and are a real treat to see and experience. There is even an Alabama vinegar available.
